Well, the final race of the year is done. It’s been a long and difficult year, but not without it’s highlights. I don’t want to say that Loenhout without spectators was a highlight, but this is the only race where the rowdiness is always a bit too much and I have felt not completely safe in more than one occasion in the past. Nothing major, just lots of very drunk people trying to be friendly or funny.
Now a short day of rest and then a final push before a little time off during the Nationals week. Thanks for joining me on my journey for another year, I wish you all a very happy (and healthy) 2022!
