What a way to end a great trip. I woke up this morning to the sun shining and it stayed like it for the rest of the day. Glorious day and glorious racing. Almost every time the riders went past me, someone else was in the lead. The crowds were great – it so great to have people at races again!
And with that, my US trip is over. I’ve been waiting and planning this trip for so long – and then it’s suddenly over. It was good to be back in the US, I really enjoyed this week over here, meeting old friends and making a few new ones. Good bye, thanks for all the fish and see you January. Normal service (ie European cyclocross races) will resume next weekend, with Ruddervoorde on Saturday and Zonhoven on Sunday.
