Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve always loved snow. I love the whiteness, the quiet, the crisp crunch as you walk in the fresh snow, the disruption that it usually brought along, all of it. As I grew up, I liked the disruption part less and less, but I’m still a huge fan. So I was really looking forward today, I was hoping for proper snow and we got proper snow. It was such a fun day out, even though I was wearing one layer too few – but even that couldn’t temper my enthusiasm.
Even driving in snow doesn’t faze me, when I learnt driving, many moons ago, my first ever practical lessons were held in heavy snow, plus I have winter tyres, so bring it on, as far as I’m concerned.
Next week is up in the air, I’ll have to see if there are any changes in the Covid regulations. In the meantime, I’m hoping to have some news in the coming days about the 2020/2021 book, but more on that later, watch this space…
