Happy New Year! The first race of 2021 is here and it doesn’t feel markedly different from 2020 so far. While I was a bit wary of it, crossing the channel posed no difficulties whatsoever, I guess the proof of the pudding will be going back home on Sunday. Bikes and kits aren’t too different either, except for the new Baloise-Trek kit and Wout’s black non-Cervelo-not-so-secret-Bianchi.
Think of changes cause by Brexit, the one thing that is already different is send out books. Interestingly, the cost of sending books to EU countries hasn’t (yet) changed much, but the boy, the paperwork has! Normally, you print an A6 label with the details and that’s that. Now, beyond the said A6 label, I’m required to provide another 7 pages of paperwork with every single parcel. Madness.
