These are strange times. You are probably focused on staying healthy and sane as we are all being told to isolate! While cyclocross might not be at the top of your agenda at the moment, with the 2019/2020 edition of my cyclocross albums, I am hoping to provide a much-needed distraction to the lockdown. I am working hard to put together this edition of my cyclocross album and aiming to finish it all up in about 5-6 weeks. Not sure what the next year will hold for me personally, as everything in cycling (and with that, all my work) has been cancelled for the foreseeable future, so this might be the only thing connected to bike racing I will work on for a while.
The format is going to be similar to last year’s album (270x230mm, 192 pages) and it will consist of my best photos and three exciting features. Paul Maunder explores the new World Cup system and what the implications are for the sport. Anne-Marije Rook writes a feature about Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado and her mercurial rise to the top of the sport. Last, but not least, a topic, that’s close to my heart: Marton Bede interviews Blanka Kata Vas, one of the most exciting up-and-coming riders, who also happens to be Hungarian, just like me.
PRE-ORDER NOWExtras are again available
Just like last year, if you order the book before we go to the printers, there are some extra options available:
A copy of the book and your name in it
A copy of the book, your name in it and an A5 print
A copy of the book, your name in it and an A3 print
As things stand now, the printers and shipping are still working fine, so if there are no hitches along the way (fingers crossed), I can start sending the books out in the middle of May – something for you to look forward to.
And as we are all in isolation, I am hoping to send out a weekly update on progress, just to stay connected.
