They always talk about life-long learning. Well, I learnt today a valuable lesson. Don’t go for a run in the morning before shooting the race in Baal. The legs will be burning. The reason I went for a very short run this morning was the well-known fact, that whatever you’re doing on New Year’s Day, that’s how you’re going to spend the rest of the year. Ok, this might be just a Hungarian superstition. But you get the point.
It was a fun day and were were surprised, after a very foggy morning, some gorgeous sunshine in the middle of the men’s race. What a treat.
Next up is Brussels, the race that I missed last season, so it will be totally new to me – something I love! So, I’m very much looking forward to it. Until then: Happy New Year!
