I can’t remember Sven Nys ever saying that if he went well he could potentially finish on the podium, but that’s what he said last week about today’s race. How times change. The new generation is here and one wonders: Who can stop Wout Van Aert?
The first race of the year is done and now I’m taking a little time away. I’m off to Hungary tomorrow to see my family and friends. The next race I’m covering is Hoogerheide, so goodbye until then. Oh, and congratulations to Zdenek Stybar, who became a father!!
