The last race of the year has arrived, although it doesn’t feel like the last, as there is still quite a lot of the season remaining. The 31st of December feels like an arbitrary date from my perspective: an irrelevant line in the sand. I find myself in a different mindset.
There will be a 2014 highlight post tomorrow. However, this is the last cyclocross race post and I would like to take a moment to thank you for visiting cyclephotos in 2014. Thank you for all your kind comments, tweets, likes, reblogs, and all your nice words when we met at races. It really feels like a big family sometimes.
I would also like to thank Nick Lemke for editing my words in the last couple of months. There has been less and less to edit in the last few weeks, but he just gets on with it nonetheless.
So, big thanks to you all and see you in 2015!

Wow, what a crazy race!
The photo of Sanne Cant’s fall is simply amazing. Definitely one of the best photos I’ve seen here so far – congratulations.
Thank you for another year of fun reading your blog. All the best in 2015!
Thanks, Wojtek. Happy 2015!
Though you got your own gallery of 2014 highlights, for me the photo of Sanne Cant’s moment of failure is the one I like the most. What a moment, no other rider to be seen, only her and her bike and the mud. If I didn’t know better I’d say it’s almost too good to be true.
