Well, it’s all done. Today was an easy day, the route wasn’t really conducive to to many spots, so we’ve only done one spot beyond the start and a bit 5k before the finish. When I was a kid, we used to spend our summer holidays in Tihany (the last village before the finish), so it was fun to drive past the place of all those childhood memories.
Right now we’re stuck in a mighty traffic jam, trying to get out of Balatonfüred, but it’s barely moving at all. I forgot this aspect of big races and I did not miss it. But still, what a day, what a weekend.
