Well, the first last day is done. It’s been a wonderful day, full of great racing, lovely sunshine and a lot of people saying hello. Ever since I posted the news about me stopping shooting cyclocross, the response was unanimously lovely. A lot of people stopped me yesterday and today to say hello and good bye, I received many, many hugs and there were a lot of kind words. It was an emotional but lovely day.
The racing was great, too, as much as I could see it, though a few friends didn’t have the best of days but I guess that’s racing. There is one more day to go and my last World Championships is over. How time flies.
