As I couldn’t go to Wednesday’s race in Herentals, this will be probably THE muddy race of the season. It was just as hard and just as spectacular as I expected it to be. It was muddy, it was hard and it was a lot of fun to shoot.
It did help that there were only two races to shoot, so no matter how cold and wet we were by the end, we only had to endure three hours out there. The other thing I enjoyed beyond the two wins was some great results by some young riders: 4th place for Fem van Empel, 7th for Blanka, 8th for Pim Ronhaar and 11th for Ben Turner. It’s good to see some fresh faces in the top 10.
This concludes this weird and awful year, let’s hope that 2021 will bring better things in every way. Happy New Year and see you in Baal!
