Today was lot more pleasant. Overijse brought sunshine and considerably less wind. It was muddy as ever, but due to the sunshine, it was getting drier and drier. What I love about Overijse is that while this is the oldest (I think) race, the mother of all crosses, the organisers always play with the course. No two years have been the same. They rarely do big changes, but there always a couple of things that are different. And that’s all someone, who’s been shooting races for a long time needs.
I’m on my way to De Panne, my self-propelled travel weekend is nearing its end – let’s hope that the weather holds up until tomorrow mid-morning, when I’m hoping to arrive home. After that, the heavens may open.
