I am ready to admit that Ruddervoorde is not my favourite course. It doesn’t have too many signature features, nothing that you wouldn’t find better somewhere else. And yet, today’s races in the rain and after the rain still made it hard and difficult and so I really enjoyed shooting it.
It’s funny how in certain season, you can barely see any rain and the races take place on dry courses until late November. Well, this season is not one of those. Almost all the races so far had either had rain or mud from rain prior to the race. We are having ‘proper cross weather’ and that’s a good thing. Let’s enjoy while it lasts.
Next up is the European Championships in Silvelle. It is said to be fairly dull course, but as I’ve never been there before, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.
