I’ve been shooting cyclocross for over ten years now, but I think this is the first time, that I witnessed a rider from my home country, Hungary, finishing in the top ten! Kata Blanka Vas, whose name was pronounced properly by the accouncer, outsprinted Katie Compton in the final meters of the race and finished just inside the top ten. After some amazing results at the MTB and road worlds, I hope Kata will go far in our sport as well!
