Who cares about women’s cycling? Well, everybody should. It was such a cracking race today, and Annemarie Worst, finally, delivered her first big win. Ever since her convincing world champion ride in Bieles last January, I think most people expected her to rise to level that she has finally reached today. First, she just stayed with Marianne Vos and then she left her behind and finished the race with a comfortable lead. Just like last season, we’ve only had a handful of races and we’ve already got different winners for all of the major races. Looking forward to more of it next week in Boom and the world cup premier of Bern – my first cyclocross race in Switzerland!
