As a few of you might have already seen, I bought a few weeks ago a new pair of waders, a new frontier in the never ending battle against mud. The downside of the otherwise perfect thing is that it’s quite big, cumbersome and can be a bit stuffy. Given that the Azencross is always extremely muddy and it was raining last night, I thought it was going to be the case today as well and I put on the waders, without asking anybody about the course condition. Wearing it wasn’t the end of the world, but it would have been nicer to just wear a pair of jeans.
One more race to go this year – see you in Diegem!
