I’m a sucker for nostalgia and looking back on the year past is always a fun exercise. I went through my shots of women’s road races, my first season in the scene and it reminded me of all the great moments. My first race in the freezing cold Belgian autumn. The smashed lens in the middle of the Ronde van Drenthe. The chilling accident of Lizzie Armitstead after the first stage of the Aviva Women’s Tour. The unbearable heat during the Giro Rosa. The boring stages of the Giro Rosa. The incredibly beautiful and exciting stages of the Giro Rosa. The lovely little hut in Sweden where we stayed before the Vårgårda World Cup. The exhausting but exhilarating World Championships in Richmond.
Thanks for all your attention this year and in the coming weeks, there will be post about my plans for 2016.

I have to admit that while I’ve been a fan of your cyclocross photos for a long time, I wasn’t that enthusiastic about your first photos from the road. But it’s simply impressive how much your sense of road cycling and the quality of the photos have improved during this year! Well done, Balint. Keep it up and all the best in 2016!
I know what you mean 🙂 It took me some time to find my rhythm, but I think things got better by the second half of the season.
