The first Belgian race of the season – at least for me. When I watch the race from behind the lens, I can only follow what actually is happening very occasionally. Today was one of those occasions and it was a thrilling race. Even thought Wout Van Aert outpowered the field again, the road to the win wasn’t as straightforward as in the previous races.
I’ve slept two hours today, so my main objective is to get back to London in one piece and sleep at least ten hours tonight. Good thing I’ve got a great audiobook for the drive home (Johann Hari – Chasing the Scream). More to come soon.
