2014 Druivencross, Overijse

I’ve said it often in the past that the Overijse race is one my favourite events, but the 2014 edition of the Druivencross, the ‘mother of all crosses’ will not be my favourite edition. In the last five years, I have had only one camera failure. Today that number increased to 3. First, one of the camera bodies started to produce the dreaded ‘ERROR 30’, which implies shutter problems. I don’t need to tell you, this is not a good sign. Then the other camera demanded a new battery, but the fresh battery had been ‘on call’ for so long, that it had lost most of its charge. So, with one lap to go, I had to call it a day. Not a good day.
