I am based in London, but apart from the Nationals and the Summer Cross Series, I haven’t been to a domestic cross race since 2010. It’s not that I didn’t want to, it’s just that during the season, I’m over in Belgium, literally every weekend. That the Worlds will be held in Tabor in January, created a gap in the calendar and I ended up spending this weekend at home.
Long story short, I rode up to Ally Pally just to have fun. One camera, one lens, simple and easy. I met some old friends and talked shop with people I’d only met on the interwebs before. A fun day, altogether and I’ll be back next year if my schedule allows me.
If you haven’t seen it yet, check out my coffee table album about the 2013/2014 cyclocross season. It is an exclusive chronicle of the 13/14 season on 240 high-quality, colourful pages.
