A finish to remember: Klaas Vantornout arrived at the finishing straight in the 2012 edition with a sizeable advantage. Being certain that his advantage would last, he practically sat up and started to celebrate, not being aware that Sven Nys opened a crazy sprint behind him. Vantornout, luckily, didn’t realise the attack too late and managed to win the race with a tiny margin.
