My fourth Koksijde – the first sunny. The first three has consistently been rainy and/or icy rainy. I do vaguely remember two half mornings with some sunshine but this was the first one with proper, Asper-Gavere-like sunshine.
This was going to be a grand weekend as it started on Friday evening, when I visited the six day track meet/race in Gent, which was a lot of fun – pictures a bit later.
However, Koksijde is always overshadowed by the following day, the race in Gieten. Last year’s race proved that Gieten can be good fun, but there is this thing, this four hour drive. That’s something I find difficult to look beyond.
The weather should be nice, so I’ll stop complaining and will got to sleep. It will be a fun day and the fried shrimps that you can buy at the race are always nice.

Do you have some others of Francis Mourey?
Not that many, but I’ve got a few.
