It’s been a very long day, great race, struggling with the cameras in the dark, I’m off to sleep now, my train leaves back to London early in the morning. The U23 race was dominated by Wietse Bosmans and Lars Van Der Haar. Impressive quads, by the way.

I love how confidently Van Der Haar jumps the barrier, not even looking down, keeping his eyes on Bosmans as if he was his prey.

Niels Albert had showed a good form since he returned and after two podium places last week, he conquered the top spot with an emphatic win.

Sven Nys wasn't the dominating force today - his third place however put him on the top of the overall Superprestige ranking.

It started to rain in the last lap - Aurelien Duval was able to hold onto his lead over Bart Wellens and even extended it to 10 seconds.
