After three months of doing almost nothing cycling photography related, today is the day when it begins again. The first round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup will be held in Dalby Forest on Sunday and I’m about the leave London to drive all the way up there.

I won’t drive there straight, though, Lincoln lies conveniently around halfway and I’ll pay a visit to Gabby Day and Rick to have a little chat about the last season and her plans for this year. I’ll leave Lincoln early tomorrow and will discover the course on Saturday to be ready for the big races on Sunday. Stay tuned, more to come…
