Last year, Roubaix was my first cyclo-cross race and this is the first World Cup venue I’m revisiting. I knew which metro to take to the hotel, I remembered how to get to the hotel from Euroteleport and I also remember which bus to take to the actual race venue. It’s a great feeling.
To add something new to the mix, I rented out a new toy, a lens I coveted for a long time: the Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 IS USM. This is a huge monster, the 70-200 appears to be small next to it. I’m really excited about it out so I’ll just head out to the course to see what changed since last year and to try it out 🙂
